Vector Art: Emma Watson

Emma Watson by ~vedica on deviantART

This is a vector art that I got from deviantart.com. What's a vector art? It's a way of converting images into a collection of pixels, represent images in computer graphics. Some may refer to it as presenting images as cartoons, or images turned into cartoons. Any kind of images maybe converted into vector art, and an artist can also edit such images, and put other details. Celebrities are the most common used model for vector arts, and most of these creations are made by their fans.

I wasn't able to create my own vector art, since I'm still learning the basics. Although, some might think that vector art is just simple and quite easy to do (especially for those who have no idea on how to do such), for me, it requires talent, patience and mastery.

MS Paint Art: Mona Lisa

There are a lot of media tools out now in the market, but what amazes me most are the works of art of MS Paint artists. I have tried editting pictures in MS Paint before, and it was so hard, considering the limited controls. But MS Paint artists are, (i guess patient enough and are creative) to ease these limited controls and create such wonderful works of art. For those MS Paint artist, amateur and professional, keep it up!

Just enjoy this video, and be amazed!

Adobe Photoshop: Family Portrait

This is our family portrait, I personally made this as a gift to my parents' and sister's birthday. I made this using Adobe Photoshop CS3, and I'm quite satisfied with the result. How long did it took me to made this one? Hmmm.... about 4 hours? I made it after I finished studying, since during that time it was our Midterm Exams. So, it took me a long time to finish it, not because I lack inspiration, but because I'm still an amateur and still learning this so called Photoshop thing. I guess my strengths when it comes to Photoshop is editting, my weak points? Hmmm.... I guess in making Vector pictures.
